SPRING 2027 OPEN SING

Wednesday, January 13, 2027 at 7:00 PM

Concord Community Music School

Open Sing is always the first rehearsal of the concert cycle. Anyone is welcome to join us in singing our new material. During Open Sing, singers interested in trying out for Concord Chorale can meet members and the Music Director, and get a feel for the group and the music. This is an opportunity to experience the fellowship that we enjoy in our rehearsals without the stress of an audition beforehand.

At the end of the evening, people interested in trying out for the Chorale will schedule an audition with the Music Director and receive an excerpt of the season’s music to prepare for the audition the following week.

CONCERT DATES: Saturday and Sunday, May 1st & 2nd, 2027

Audition

At the audition with the Music Director, the singer will be asked to sing the assigned excerpt of music. There will also be some vocalization, basic sight-reading, and an assessment of general musicianship.

Concord Chorale welcomes singers of all ages, and from all walks of life.
