6/14/20 News for Ogontz Choral Workshop Campers

From Debbie Carley

News for Ogontz Choral Workshop campers.

Key individuals have met and begun making plans, which have been approved by the Ogontz Arts Foundation Board of Directors. After 30 consecutive years, the force to do something in 2020 was unstoppable. Many people were behind that force, but none more so than Lynn and George Kent, Paula Rockwell, and David Hill; and then there is the power of good music and singing.

Paula has been holding nightly live Facebook events to connect with her followers and keep up our spirits. From his home in the UK, David has held sing-along sessions attended by hundreds of choristers from all over the world, including more than a few of the Ogontz faithful. Many of us have waded into new technology and are making use of it, in spite of occasional glitches.

Holding a camp virtually may in fact carry unanticipated benefits …
… for Ogontz alums who could not get to NH for one reason or another, but will be able to attend online.
… for a new audience who will get to know our wonderful family.
… for folks wanting a day or two, but who are unable to invest the time and money for a week.
