FALL 2021 AD CAMPAIGN PITCH!
What does it take to sell cars? LOTS
What does it take to sell Concord Chorale Concert Program ads? PITCH!
And here is our PITCH for the Concord Chorale Concert Program ad campaign.
A sizable portion of our Concord Chorale budget comes from selling concert program ads, somewhere between $15,000 and $17,000 dollars annually. On our member portal, you will find:
– link to a list of advertisers, ad size and the member who sold the ad.
– Order forms, which include details of playbill advertising ad size and cost. Copies also available on the public website.
This should be all you need. Liz MacLellan and Tom Weston will be heading up the coordination of all things ad-related. If you have questions or need anything, please see either Liz or Tom.
We really must to start right away as our concert is in just two months. We need to have all ads secured in the next two weeks. It takes considerable time for the collection of funds, ad layout and the printing of our concert program. And note, if we are unable to hold in person concerts, advertisements will be displayed on our portal at concert time.
Businesses are proud to support us. Remember, money goes to where it is best treated. The people you are asking to support us, appreciate the support you give them, in doing business with them. They care about you, your family, you’re health, your activities. And because Concord Chorale is important to you, it becomes important to them as well. Asking for a business to support Concord Chorale is not begging. We provide our audience with a product called “Excellence”. Just look at our mission statement. “Concord Chorale is an auditioned vocal ensemble, dedicated to excellence in the performance of choral music for the cultural enrichment and enjoyment of its audience and its members”. Excellence is what we strive to deliver. And we all know the wonderful feeling that comes when we deliver on our shared mission. Who wouldn’t want to be associated with that?
So this week, make a list of the places where you spend your money, and ask them if they would like to take out a program ad in support of Concord Chorale. Hair dresser, car dealership, florist, gift shop, restaurant, insurance agency, mechanic, plumber, electrician, dentist, veterinarian, fuel dealer, you get the idea. Our Advertisers are looking forward to hearing from us again.
If you are new to Chorale, ask Liz or Tom if there are orphan ads to solicit, as we have had membership changes. Orphan ads are usually easy, as these businesses have supported Concord Chorale in the past.
So…Good luck everybody, and thank you!! Remember, our pitch, and our goal is EXCELLENCE.
Any questions?
