Sounding Joy - December 11 at 8pm & December 12 at 3pm, 2010
Concord Chorale's Sounding Joy concert will include sacred and secular Christmas works that contrast the gentle and the ecstatic—the long, still night and the joyous celebration.  The program features both a capella works and collaborations with harp, organ, flute, and percussion.  Works by Orlando Gibbons, Jennifer Higdon, Francis Poulenc, John Rutter, Igor Stravinsky and others. Following a wonderful holiday tradition, the Chorale will once again be joined by the Concord Youth Chorus.

The Merrimack Holiday “Pops” – December 19, 2010 at 3pm
The Concord Chorale will join The New England Wind Symphony, conducted and directed by Clayton Poole, in its annual holiday concert at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord. The program will include a world premiere written by composer/arranger Jerry Ascione, former music director of the U.S. Navy Commodores and currently one of the featured composers for the U.S. Navy and Marine Bands, as well as selections fro the Messiah and traditional holiday carols.
